MonoAbe

MonoAbe is a creative partnership between artists Ayumi Yamada and Gabriel Ruiz, founded in 2017 and based in Mexico City. Blending their backgrounds in graphic design, street art, and traditional painting, the duo is known for their playful yet thought-provoking work, which often explores the intersection of cultural identity, urban environments, and the evolving relationship between humanity and technology. Their signature visual language combines bold shapes, vibrant colors, and meticulous linework, drawing inspiration from pop culture, Japanese aesthetics, and Mexican folk traditions.
