Moksi is an acclaimed electronic music duo from the Netherlands, originally formed by Samir Gadir (Samir) and Diego Stijnen (Diego), known for their bold blend of house, bass, and festival-inspired sounds. Since bursting onto the scene in 2015 with their debut track "Getting Higher," Moksi quickly gained traction with their energetic production style and unique take on the underground-meets-mainstage sound. Championing their roots in house and garage, their music draws from an eclectic range of influences, seamlessly incorporating elements of classic rave, Dutch dance, and UK bass.
The duo became core members of the Barong Family label, a community founded by Yellow Claw, which nurtured their rise with high-profile collaborations and show-stopping remixes for artists like DJ Snake, Hardwell, and Dillon Francis. Renowned for their dynamic DJ sets, Moksi has graced the stages of major global festivals, including Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, and Mysteryland, captivating crowds with their high-energy performances. In 2019, they released their debut album "The Return of House Music," which further cemented their reputation as innovative producers within the electronic dance music sphere.
Despite Diego’s departure from the project in 2021, Samir has continued to uphold the Moksi name, pushing creative boundaries with each release and maintaining the act’s status as a driving force in the evolution of modern house music.
