Miss Kittin, born Caroline Hervé in Grenoble, France, is a celebrated electronic music producer, DJ, and vocalist renowned for her pivotal role in shaping the sound and style of electroclash and techno since the late 1990s. Emerging from the French underground rave scene, Miss Kittin first garnered international acclaim with her collaborations alongside The Hacker, notably through their anthems “1982” and “Frank Sinatra,” which became emblematic tracks of the early 2000s electroclash renaissance. Known for her distinctive deadpan vocal delivery, edgy lyrics, and incisive sense of style, she has released a string of influential solo albums such as “I Com” and “BatBox,” and her work continues to push the boundaries of electronic music.
