Mefjus

Mefjus, born Martin Schober in 1988, is an acclaimed drum and bass producer and DJ hailing from Linz, Austria. He emerged onto the electronic music scene in the early 2010s and swiftly established himself as a forerunner in the neurofunk subgenre, known for his intricate sound design, razor-sharp production, and innovative approach to rhythm and bass. Drawing from his background in audio engineering and a passion for technical precision, Mefjus has released music on prominent labels such as Critical Music, Vision Recordings, and Hospital Records, collaborating with influential artists including Phace, Noisia, Camo & Krooked, and Ivy Lab.

His debut album "Emulation" in 2014 was met with critical acclaim, cementing his reputation as one of the genre’s most creative minds. Subsequent releases, including his self-titled 2018 sophomore album, further expanded his sound, blending complex drum work, futuristic atmospheres, and a distinctive melodic sensibility.
