Max Blumen

Max Blumen is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist recognized for his evocative explorations of memory, space, and personal mythology. Born in Berlin in 1987, Blumen developed an early affinity for visual storytelling, drawing inspiration from the vibrant urban landscape and the shifting histories of his surroundings. He holds an MFA from the University of the Arts in Berlin, where he honed his distinctive approach, blending painting, collage, and installation.

Blumen’s work frequently interrogates the boundaries between abstraction and figuration, manifesting in layered compositions that invite immersive engagement. Over the past decade, his projects have been featured in solo and group exhibitions across Europe and North America, and his pieces are included in both private and institutional collections. Blumen lives and works in Berlin, where he continues to push the limits of form and narrative in his ever-evolving practice.
