Martinez is a Danish-Chilean electronic music producer and DJ whose real name is Martin Swanstein. Born in 1981 in Sweden and raised in Denmark, Martinez developed an early passion for music, learning the guitar and piano before discovering electronic sounds in his teenage years. He began DJing and producing in the late 1990s, influenced by styles ranging from house and techno to jazz and minimal.

His debut track was released in 2000, quickly attracting attention for its deep grooves and intricate rhythms. Over the years, Martinez’s productions have appeared on respected labels like Cocoon, Cadenza, Moon Harbour, Oslo Records, and his own imprint, Concealed Sounds.
