Ludviq is a visionary contemporary artist whose multidisciplinary approach seamlessly blends painting, digital media, and immersive installation. Born in Marseille, France in 1988, Ludviq draws inspiration from the vibrant colors and rhythmic forms of the Mediterranean landscape, as well as the tension between organic and technological worlds. After studying fine art at École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Ludviq’s practice evolved through residencies in Berlin and Tokyo, leading to the development of a distinctive visual language characterized by dynamic compositions and a constant play between abstraction and figuration.
Their work has been exhibited in solo and group shows across Europe, North America, and Asia, including notable venues such as the Palais de Tokyo, Kunsthalle Bern, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto. Driven by a fascination with memory, perception, and the boundaries of the visible, Ludviq invites viewers to question their own sense of reality through layered textures and spectral light. Their work has been featured in leading art publications, and they are the recipient of several international fellowships and awards for artistic innovation.
Currently based in Berlin, Ludviq continues to expand their practice, collaborating with musicians, choreographers, and technologists to push the boundaries of contemporary visual culture.
