Ludovica Frauu

Ludovica Frauu is a multidisciplinary artist whose work traverses the boundaries of painting, sculpture, and installation, crafting immersive visual experiences rooted in memory and intuition. Born in Milan, Italy, Frauu developed an early fascination with the interplay between light, color, and texture, themes that would come to define her artistic practice. After studying Fine Art at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, she traveled extensively throughout Europe, absorbing influences from both classical art and contemporary conceptual movements.

Frauu’s pieces often explore the tension between the natural and the constructed, drawing inspiration from organic forms and architectural structures alike. Her work has been exhibited in numerous galleries across Italy and abroad, earning recognition for its lyrical sensitivity and evocative materiality. Through bold experimentation with unconventional materials, Frauu continuously challenges the viewer’s perception, inviting them to contemplate the subtle harmonies underlying the familiar and the unknown.

She currently lives and works between Milan and Berlin, where her practice continues to evolve in dialogue with the dynamic art scenes of both cities.
