Lu

Lu is a multidisciplinary artist whose evocative work blends elements of surrealism, urban culture, and personal memory. Born in 1992 in São Paulo, Brazil, Lu was raised amidst the vibrant colors, diverse communities, and ever-evolving street art of the city, all of which became fundamental to her creative outlook. Drawing from a background in both fine arts and graphic design, Lu’s practice traverses painting, digital illustration, large-scale murals, and installation.

Her pieces often explore the intersections of identity and transformation, utilizing fluid forms, bold palettes, and layered symbolism to invite viewers into imaginative narratives. Since her first solo exhibition in 2014, Lu has participated in collaborative projects and group shows across Latin America and Europe, steadily gaining recognition for her innovative approach and commitment to social themes.
