Lolalita is a boundary-pushing multimedia artist whose work spans painting, digital art, and immersive installations. Raised in the vibrant cultural crossroads of Los Angeles, she draws on her mixed Filipino and Afro-Latinx heritage to create lush, dreamlike landscapes that explore themes of nostalgia, identity, and collective memory. Lolalita’s artistry is marked by an intuitive use of color and texture, often blending organic forms with technological motifs to evoke a sense of both warmth and unease.
After earning her BFA from California Institute of the Arts, she quickly gained attention with her debut solo show, "Electric Reveries," which fused analog collage with interactive video projections. Since then, her evocative works have been exhibited in galleries throughout the US and internationally, including shows in Berlin, Tokyo, and Mexico City. Driven by a desire to spark dialogue through beauty and complexity, Lolalita continues to expand her creative toolkit, collaborating with musicians, dancers, and VR developers while remaining committed to fostering inclusivity and community through her practice.
