Logan Fisher is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores the intersections of memory, identity, and place through a combination of painting, mixed media, and installation. Born in 1987 in Portland, Oregon, Fisher developed an early fascination with the natural landscapes and urban environments of the Pacific Northwest, themes that continue to influence his artistic practice. He received his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2009, where he honed a unique approach that balances expressive abstraction with intricate detail.
Fisher’s art is noted for its evocative use of texture and color, often incorporating found objects and unconventional materials to evoke a sense of history and personal narrative. His work has been exhibited in solo and group shows across the United States, including at the Portland Art Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver. In addition to his studio practice, Fisher is committed to arts education and frequently leads workshops for emerging artists.
Currently based in Seattle, he continues to push the boundaries of his medium, creating works that invite viewers to reflect on the complex layers of experience that shape our sense of self and place.
