Lily Ray

Lily Ray is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersection of memory, identity, and the natural world. Raised in the Pacific Northwest, her early surroundings of dramatic landscapes and shifting seasons imprinted a deep sensitivity to environment that echoes throughout her practice. Ray holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design, where she honed her skills in painting and installation, before expanding into photography and mixed media.

Her compositions often blend organic materials with found objects, merging the ephemeral and the enduring in evocative gestures. Ray’s work has been exhibited in galleries throughout the United States and abroad, including solo shows in New York, Portland, and Berlin. She has participated in several artist residencies, including the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture and the Banff Centre, both of which have contributed to her evolving visual language.
