Law Mark

Law Mark is a contemporary artist whose work explores the intersections of memory, landscape, and identity through a diverse range of media. Born in 1987 in Vancouver, Canada, Mark developed an early fascination with urban spaces and their shifting narratives, a theme that remains central throughout their artistic practice. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Mark went on to exhibit in both solo and group shows across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Their multidisciplinary approach incorporates painting, installation, photography, and digital media, often layering found objects and archival materials to evoke a sense of fragmented history. Mark’s evocative visual language invites viewers to reflect on notions of place, displacement, and belonging. Deeply influenced by lived experience as a first-generation Canadian, Mark’s work operates at the intersection of personal and collective histories, deftly balancing abstraction and figuration.

Law Mark’s art can be found in several public and private collections, and they continue to create and exhibit internationally from their studio in Toronto.
