Lavan

Lavan is a multidisciplinary artist whose evocative works span painting, sculpture, and installation. Drawing inspiration from urban life and heritage, Lavan’s practice explores the interplay between memory, identity, and the contemporary environment. Born in Mumbai and now based in Berlin, Lavan’s international experiences inform a vibrant visual language that fuses bold color, gestural abstraction, and found materials.

After completing studies at Sir J.J. School of Art and Goldsmiths, University of London, Lavan has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across Europe, Asia, and North America.

Their work has been included in art fairs such as Art Basel and India Art Fair, and has been featured in publications including Artforum and The Hindu. Lavan is driven by a belief that art can bridge divides, spark dialogue, and reflect the hidden stories embedded in everyday spaces.
