Laure Croft is a contemporary artist based in the Netherlands, known for her immersive installations and evocative mixed-media work that explores the interplay between memory, landscape, and identity. Drawing inspiration from the ever-changing Dutch environment and her own multicultural background, Croft deftly combines found objects, digital projection, and organic materials to construct sensory experiences that invite viewers to reflect on the fluid boundaries between personal and collective histories. Since obtaining her Master of Fine Arts from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, Croft has exhibited widely across Europe, with notable solo shows in Rotterdam, Berlin, and Paris.
Her work is characterized by a sensitive attention to texture and atmosphere, often incorporating subtle soundscapes and faint traces of archival material to create a sense of temporal layering. Croft’s practice also extends to collaborative public art projects and educational workshops, underscoring her commitment to fostering dialogue and community engagement through artistic expression.
