Born Stuart Langelaan in Middlesbrough, England, Lange emerged as a defining figure in the trance and progressive house scene in the late 1990s. His early breakthrough came with the release of club anthems like "I Believe" and remixes for acts such as DJ Sakin & Friends, Faithless, and Pet Shop Boys, which established his signature blend of melodic synths and euphoric energy. Throughout his career, Lange has released a string of influential singles including "Follow Me," "Drifting Away" featuring Skye, and "Happiness Happening," many of which became staples on dancefloors and radio playlists worldwide.

In addition to his solo work, he is recognized for his high-profile collaborations—most notably with Gareth Emery as part of the duo LNG and with Sarah Howells for tracks like "Let It All Out." Lange’s debut album, *Better Late Than Never* (2007), and its follow-up, *Harmonic Motion* (2010), showcased his versatility as a producer and songwriter, blending trance, progressive, and even touches of house and electro. In live settings, Lange is renowned for his dynamic DJ sets, performing internationally at iconic festivals and clubs, including Creamfields, Gatecrasher, and Ministry of Sound.
