Lais Pattak

Lais Pattak is a contemporary visual artist known for her evocative exploration of color, form, and emotion through mixed media paintings and installations. Born in 1989 in São Paulo, Brazil, Pattak began developing her creative voice at an early age, drawing inspiration from both the vibrant urban landscape of her hometown and the rich cultural traditions of her heritage. After completing her studies at the University of São Paulo’s School of Fine Arts, she moved to Berlin in 2013, where her work began to engage more deeply with themes of displacement, memory, and identity.

Pattak’s artistic practice is characterized by a dynamic interplay between abstraction and figuration, using layered textures, bold hues, and gestural brushwork to convey a sense of movement and introspection. Her pieces have been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout Europe and South America, earning her critical recognition for their emotional resonance and innovative approach to materiality.
