Lab 4

Lab 4 are a hard trance and techno duo from the United Kingdom, formed in the mid-1990s by Adam Newman and Lez Elston. Renowned for their high-energy live performances and driving, industrial-tinged sound, Lab 4 quickly became icons within the UK hard dance scene. Drawing influence from techno, trance, and hard house, their music is characterized by intricate synth lines, pounding beats, and a dark, futuristic aesthetic.

Over their career, Lab 4 have released a string of influential albums and singles, including "Use Only the Drugs," "Genetik Response," and "Virus," earning them an international following. Their contagious on-stage energy and unique productions have seen them perform at major festivals and events across the globe, from Creamfields to Dance Valley, and as regulars at legendary UK club nights such as Frantic and Hard House Academy. Although the duo briefly ceased live performances in 2006, Lab 4 have since returned to both the studio and the stage, continuing to influence new generations of electronic music fans and producers with their uncompromising approach to hard dance music.
