KOMPROMAT

KOMPROMAT is a Franco-German electronic duo formed by producer Vitalic (Pascal Arbez-Nicolas) and vocalist Rebeka Warrior (Julia Lanoë). Emerging in 2018, their collaboration is a synthesis of dark, pulsating techno and cold-wave sensibilities, inspired by the industrial soundscapes and provocative aesthetics of 1980s Eastern Europe. The duo’s music is characterized by militant beats, raw synth lines, and haunting vocals, often sung in German or French, that evoke themes of rebellion, freedom, and existential angst.

Both artists bring individual pedigrees—Vitalic as a prominent French electronic producer, and Rebeka Warrior as half of the cult acts Mansfield.TYA and Sexy Sushi—melding their talents into a project that is as politically charged as it is danceable. KOMPROMAT’s live performances are notorious for their intense energy and theatrical ambiguity, channeling the legacy of underground countercultures while pushing the boundaries of contemporary electronic music.
