Born out of the vibrant club scenes of Berlin and London, DJ Kitsch has emerged as a boundary-pushing force in the world of electronic music. Drawing inspiration from disco, new wave, house, and the eclecticism of 80s pop, Kitsch’s sets fuse nostalgia and innovation, captivating audiences with unexpected sonic journeys. Since spinning vinyl at warehouse parties in the early 2010s, Kitsch has grown into a crate-digging tastemaker, acclaimed for seamless blends and an uncanny knack for resurrecting forgotten tracks.
Kitsch’s residency at Berlin’s famed Wilde Renate solidified their reputation as a dancefloor architect, regularly sharing stages with underground heroes like Peggy Gou and Honey Dijon. Their debut EP, “Synthetic Romance,” released in 2022 on the Neon Palms label, garnered international airplay and critical praise for its playful mix of camp and club sensibility. Whether headlining festivals from Primavera Sound to Glastonbury or curating queer-centric nights in intimate clubs, Kitsch champions diversity and inclusivity on and off the decks, using music as a vehicle for liberation and connection.
With signature looks as bold as their sound, DJ Kitsch continues to rewrite club culture’s rules, one glitter-infused set at a time.
