Kimban

Kimban is a multidisciplinary artist whose innovative practice bridges digital media, painting, and sculptural installation. Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Kimban draws inspiration from the vibrant contrasts of urban life, traditional Korean art forms, and contemporary global culture. After earning a degree in Fine Arts from Hongik University, Kimban relocated to Berlin, where their work began to explore the interplay between cultural identity and technological transformation.

Their art, marked by bold color palettes and dynamic forms, often meditates on the tension between memory and modernity, weaving personal narratives into universal themes. Kimban’s pieces have been exhibited in solo and group shows internationally, with critical acclaim for their immersive installations that invite viewers to both question and participate in the experiences constructed. Continuously pushing boundaries, Kimban remains committed to experimentation, embracing new materials and collaborative projects that highlight the urgent dialogues of our fast-changing world.
