Kara Okay is a multidisciplinary artist whose vibrant and evocative work explores the fluidity of identity, memory, and the digital age. Drawing inspiration from both their multicultural upbringing and contemporary internet culture, Kara employs a blend of painting, sculpture, and new media installations to construct immersive visual narratives. After earning a BFA from the California Institute of the Arts, Kara's work has been exhibited in solo and group shows across the United States and internationally, garnering attention for its playful yet incisive commentary on modern life. Kara currently lives and works in Los Angeles, continuing to experiment with materials and mediums to challenge viewers’ perceptions and invite participation in the evolving dialogue between art and society.
