Kalipo is the electronic music alias of Jakob Häglsperger, a multifaceted German producer and DJ originally known as a member of the band Frittenbude. Emerging as a solo artist in the early 2010s, Kalipo has carved a distinct niche in the world of electronic music, weaving together elements of techno, house, downtempo, and minimal with a keen sense for melody and rhythmic subtlety. His productions are often marked by warm analog textures, organic samples, and a profound emotional depth, earning him both critical acclaim and a dedicated following across Europe.
