Kalabrese, the artistic alias of Sacha Winkler, is a unique force in Switzerland’s electronic music scene, celebrated for his eclectic fusion of house, funk, and soulful pop. Based in Zurich, he emerged as a DJ and producer in the early 2000s, quickly gaining recognition for his playful, genre-defying sound. Kalabrese’s debut album, "Rumpelzirkus," released in 2007, showcased his talent for blending organic grooves with electronic elements, earning him a devoted following both at home and abroad.

As the driving force behind the celebrated party series "Rumpelkammer" and a resident at the legendary Zurich nightclub Zukunft, Kalabrese has cultivated an influential presence in Swiss nightlife. His subsequent releases, including "Independent Dancer" and "Let Love Rumpel" (with his live band, the Rumpelorchester), demonstrate a maturing artistry and deepening engagement with collaborative, live-instrument-based arrangements.
