K. Luisa is a contemporary visual artist whose multidisciplinary practice explores themes of memory, identity, and transformation. Raised between Mexico City and Los Angeles, her work is deeply influenced by the interplay of urban environments, cultural hybridity, and personal narratives.

K. Luisa’s art often blurs the boundaries between painting, photography, and installation, utilizing found objects, bold color palettes, and textural contrasts to evoke a sense of storytelling. Since receiving her BFA from the California Institute of the Arts in 2015, she has exhibited widely throughout the United States and Latin America, with her pieces featured in institutions such as the Museum of Latin American Art and the Getty Center.

Driven by a continual search for connection and meaning, K. Luisa’s evolving body of work invites viewers to reflect on their own experiences of place, displacement, and belonging.
