Jose Noventa

Jose Noventa is a contemporary visual artist based in Germany, whose multifaceted practice explores the interplay between memory, urban landscapes, and cultural identity. Born in Berlin in 1986 to a family with roots in both Europe and Latin America, Noventa’s work reflects a synthesis of diverse artistic influences and personal histories. After graduating from the Berlin University of the Arts in 2010, Noventa began exhibiting locally, quickly gaining recognition for his evocative mixed-media installations and large-scale paintings.

His art is characterized by vibrant color palettes, layered textures, and the recurring use of found objects, all of which serve to evoke a sense of nostalgia and psychological depth. Noventa’s critically acclaimed exhibitions have been featured in leading German galleries as well as international venues, and he has participated in several artist residencies across Europe and South America. Rooted in a commitment to community engagement, Noventa is also involved in educational projects for underprivileged youth in Berlin, using art as a medium for self-expression and dialogue.
