Born and raised in Rotterdam, Joëlla began experimenting with turntables as a teenager, quickly earning a reputation for her impeccable taste and seamless mixing. She honed her craft in the underground club circuit, blending deep house, techno, and elements of Afrobeat into sets that pulse with emotion and energy.

Her big break came in 2018, when she won the coveted New Talent Night at Amsterdam Dance Event, leading to residencies at some of the Netherlands’ most iconic clubs. Joëlla’s signature style—merging groove-driven basslines with soulful vocals—caught the attention of major festivals, and she soon graced the stages of Lowlands, Awakenings, and Dimensions Festival.
