Jinjé

Jinjé is the solo project of Lee J Malcolm, a British electronic music producer and performer based in Leeds, UK. Known primarily for his work as a founding member of the electronic trio Vessels, Jinjé explores a more club-focused and experimental side of dance music. Since launching the Jinjé alias in 2015, Malcolm has gained recognition for his distinctive approach to techno and house, expertly weaving intricate percussive elements with layered synths and lush atmospheres.

His productions, often released on respected labels such as 17 Steps and Mesh, have earned widespread support from influential DJs and tastemakers across the electronic music spectrum. Jinjé’s live performances are marked by their energy and inventiveness, using a hybrid hardware setup that emphasizes spontaneity and rhythm.
