Jin-Su

Jin-Su is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist known for blending traditional East Asian techniques with innovative modern practices. Born in Busan, South Korea, Jin-Su developed an early interest in calligraphy and ink painting, influences that continue to inform their aesthetic sensibility. After earning a BFA from Hongik University, Jin-Su expanded their creative repertoire by studying interactive media in Berlin, Germany.

This cross-cultural trajectory is evident in works that juxtapose organic brushwork with digital manipulation, exploring the tension and harmony between nature and technology. Jin-Su’s installations, paintings, and digital pieces have been exhibited internationally, including shows in Seoul, Berlin, and New York. Their art delves into themes of memory, migration, and the fluidity of identity, often inviting viewers to engage both visually and conceptually.

Through subtle layering and immersive environments, Jin-Su seeks to bridge cultural histories while imagining new avenues for visual expression in a globalized world.
