Javi Bora’s career has been fueled by a tireless passion for digging, performing and production, earning the respect of house and techno aficionados and resulting in a string of high-profile residencies, including with Space Ibiza and Hï Ibiza. Born in Spain, Javi has developed a sound characterized by lush, groove-rich house foundations and percussive influences from his background as a drummer. His dedicated approach in the studio has seen him release on world-class labels such as Defected, Robsoul, VIVa MUSiC, and Hot Creations, earning support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Loco Dice, and Steve Lawler.

A truly international artist, Javi has headlined at some of the globe’s most iconic venues, from Fabric London and Rex Club Paris to D-Edge Brazil and Ministry of Sound. He is lauded for his versatile DJ sets, often blending deep house, Chicago grooves, and balearic soulfulness—sonically reflecting his Ibizan experiences and Spanish roots. Alongside his solo work, Javi is a co-founder of the Too Many Rules label, curating dance floors and championing up-and-coming talent.
