James Pepper

James Pepper is a multidisciplinary artist whose work traverses painting, illustration, and digital media to explore themes of memory, community, and the passage of time. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Pepper's creative journey began in childhood, drawing inspiration from the lush natural landscapes and vibrant countercultural spirit of the Pacific Northwest. After earning a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2013, Pepper settled in Brooklyn, where his practice flourished amidst the city's dynamic art scene.
