James Andrew

James Andrew is a multidisciplinary artist based in the United Kingdom, whose work spans painting, installation, and digital media. Born in 1988, Andrew graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2010, quickly garnering attention for his innovative use of color and texture. His practice is deeply rooted in explorations of memory, landscape, and the interplay between the natural and built environment.

Drawing inspiration from both rural British scenery and urban architecture, he often juxtaposes organic forms with geometric abstractions, inviting viewers to reconsider their perceptions of space and place. Andrew’s exhibitions have been featured in galleries across London, Manchester, and Edinburgh, while his pieces have also found homes in private collections throughout Europe.
