Jade Edwards

Jade Edwards is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores the intersections of memory, identity, and urban landscapes. Born in 1989 in Atlanta, Georgia, Edwards developed a passion for art at an early age, inspired by the vibrant street art of the city and the cultural richness of the American South. After earning a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012, Edwards' practice evolved to incorporate mixed media, layering found materials with acrylics and ink to create textured, evocative compositions.

Her artworks have been exhibited in solo and group shows across the United States and internationally, including showcases in New York, London, and Berlin. Drawing from personal experiences and collective histories, Edwards' pieces often blur the line between abstraction and figuration, inviting viewers to reflect on the shifting narratives that shape our sense of place. In addition to her studio work, she is involved in community mural projects and arts outreach, championing access to creative expression for underrepresented youth.

Edwards currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York, where she continues to push the boundaries of her medium and explore new approaches to storytelling through visual art.
