Jack Love

Jack Love is a contemporary visual artist whose dynamic and emotive works explore the interplay between introspection and social connection. Born in 1986 in Portland, Oregon, Jack cultivated an early passion for art influenced by the rugged landscapes and vibrant cultural scene of the Pacific Northwest. After earning a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, Love embarked on a journey that led to residencies in Berlin, Tokyo, and New York City, each of which expanded his creative vocabulary.

Working primarily in mixed media, Jack integrates found objects, vivid acrylics, and layered textures to evoke a sense of both personal narrative and collective experience. His recent series, "Tangible Echoes," examines the resonance of memory through abstract forms and luminous color fields, earning critical acclaim at group and solo exhibitions, including shows at the Portland Art Museum and the Walker Art Center. Beyond his visual practice, Jack is dedicated to arts education and community engagement, frequently hosting workshops and collaborating on public mural projects.

His work can be found in private collections in the US and abroad, and he continues to push the boundaries of contemporary art with an ever-evolving, authentic voice.
