Ivana Parti is a contemporary visual artist known for her evocative explorations of memory, place, and transformation. Born in 1987 in Rijeka, Croatia, Parti developed an early fascination with stories and textures, which became central themes in her practice. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2010 and continued her studies in Berlin, where she was influenced by the city’s dynamic art scene and diverse cultural landscape.
Parti’s multidisciplinary work encompasses painting, installation, and mixed media, often blending personal narratives with wider historical references. Her distinctive approach layers found objects, archival materials, and gestural marks, crafting haunting compositions that invite contemplation of the boundaries between past and present. Over the past decade, Parti’s exhibitions have been featured in galleries throughout Europe and North America, earning her critical acclaim and several artist residencies.
Dedicated to fostering dialogue through art, she currently lives and works in Berlin, where she also mentors emerging artists.
