ISO YSO

ISO YSO is a collaborative artist duo known for their innovative blend of digital and traditional mediums, creating immersive works that probe the boundaries between the organic and the synthetic. Formed in 2015 by interdisciplinary artists Maya Iso and Sven Yso, the partnership has become recognized for multimedia installations and experimental soundscapes that invite audiences into otherworldly environments. Drawing on influences from science fiction, cybernetic theory, and natural phenomena, ISO YSO’s practice weaves together custom-built electronics, projection mapping, and sculptural forms.

Their works have been exhibited internationally at venues including Transmediale, the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, and the Serpentine Galleries, and the duo has been commissioned for public art projects and festival performances across Europe and Asia. Rooted in a process that embraces collaboration and chance, ISO YSO’s work consistently explores the porous borderlands between presence and absence, touch and transmission, and human and machine.
