Innerstice

Innerstice is an interdisciplinary collective formed in 2021 whose practice bridges sound art, installation, and experimental composition. Drawing from backgrounds in architecture, electronics, and improvisational music, the members of Innerstice create immersive environments that explore the interplay between space, perception, and the ephemeral qualities of sound. Their work often utilizes custom-built transducers, field recordings, and generative processes to activate unconventional locations—from industrial landscapes to abandoned urban sites—inviting audiences into contemplative sonic experiences.

Innerstice’s projects have been featured in festivals and art spaces across North America and Europe, garnering critical attention for their innovative use of technology and their nuanced engagement with the poetics of the in-between.
