Inner City is an influential American electronic music group formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1987 by producer and composer Kevin Saunderson, one of the legendary Belleville Three credited with pioneering Detroit techno. Joined by vocalist Paris Grey, Inner City quickly rose to prominence with their debut single "Big Fun," a transatlantic hit that helped define the sound of modern dance music. Their 1988 anthem "Good Life" became an enduring classic, fusing soulful vocals and intricate house production to worldwide acclaim and earning the group several chart-topping hits throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s.
