In Furcht is a German dark ambient and experimental electronic music project founded in 2020 by enigmatic producer Jonas Keller. Drawing from the spectral soundscapes of early industrial artists and the chilling textures of modern drone music, In Furcht crafts haunting sonic environments that evoke both dread and fascination. Inspired by the German word for “in fear,” the project delves deep into themes of anxiety, isolation, and the unseen forces that shape human existence.

Keller, who remains reclusive and allows the music to speak for itself, utilizes field recordings, analog synthesizers, and manipulated vocals to construct immersive and unsettling compositions. Since their debut self-released EP, In Furcht has steadily grown a cult following within the underground electronic scene, contributing to various compilations and collaborating with visual artists.
