IDMT

IDMT is a multidisciplinary artist collective whose work explores the intersection of technology, memory, and identity through immersive audiovisual installations and interactive media. Formed in 2018 and based between Berlin and Mexico City, the group—comprised of visual artists, sound designers, and programmers—questions the boundaries between sensory perception and digital manipulation, creating environments that encourage active engagement and introspection. Drawing inspiration from glitch aesthetics, cybernetic structures, and archival materials, IDMT's projects have been exhibited in international galleries, festivals, and online platforms, often blurring the lines between audience and author.

Their practice is rooted in collaboration, with a process-oriented approach that emphasizes experimentation, generative systems, and the ephemeral nature of experience. Through their dynamic installations, IDMT invites viewers to reconsider the ways in which technology shapes collective and individual histories, offering new perspectives on how we construct and store meaning in an increasingly networked world.
