IDACARE is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice merges digital media, sound, and performance to investigate themes of transformation, care, and interconnection. Originally from Helsinki, Finland, IDACARE draws on experiences across European and Asian creative communities, channeling these diverse perspectives into immersive installations and speculative storytelling. Their work often blurs the boundaries between audience and performer, inviting participatory exploration and collective healing.
Influenced by post-internet culture and somatic practices, IDACARE’s projects span audiovisual collaborations, interactive scenographies, and experimental publications. Their work has been exhibited internationally at venues including the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, Ars Electronica, and the Seoul Media Art Biennale. Through a practice that is as much about building community as artistic output, IDACARE seeks to reimagine realities where vulnerability is a source of strength and care is an artistic act.
