Ida Scheppert

Ida Scheppert is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores the intersections of memory, materiality, and transformation through a diverse range of media, including painting, sculpture, and installation. Born in 1987 in Vienna, Austria, Scheppert developed an early fascination with the interplay between natural forms and urban environments, which continues to inform her artistic practice today. She earned her Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, where she studied under renowned conceptual artists and honed her interest in experimental techniques and process-driven art.

Scheppert’s work is recognized for its subtle layering of textures, organic motifs, and evocative use of color, inviting viewers to contemplate the ephemeral nature of human experience. Her exhibitions have been featured in galleries across Europe, including solo presentations in Berlin, Zurich, and her native Vienna, as well as international group shows in New York and Paris.
