Hypnotic Black Magic is a boundary-defying artistic collective founded in 2016 by multidisciplinary artists Aurelia Rios and Skyler Dusk. Drawing inspiration from the liminal spaces where dreams end and reality slips, the duo crafts mesmerizing visual installations and sonic landscapes that blur the borders between occult symbolism, Afro-futurism, and cybernetic aesthetics. Their collaborative works have been showcased in unconventional venues ranging from abandoned warehouses in Detroit to digital art festivals in Berlin, garnering a cult following for their immersive, ritualistic performances.

Central to Hypnotic Black Magic’s practice is a desire to transmute personal and ancestral trauma into communal healing experiences, utilizing layered projections, experimental audio, and interactive elements that invite viewers to become participants in the alchemical process.
