Hyperdawn

Hyperdawn is an experimental electronic duo hailing from Manchester, United Kingdom, comprised of musicians Michael Cutting and Katie Tavini. Formed in 2016, Hyperdawn has garnered a reputation for their innovative blending of live electronics, tape manipulation, and distinctive vocals, creating immersive soundscapes that bridge the gap between avant-pop and leftfield experimental music. Driven by a DIY ethos and a fascination with both vintage and modern technologies, the duo leverages reel-to-reel tape machines, found sounds, and processed instrumentation to craft textured works that explore themes of memory, nostalgia, and transformation.

Their debut album "Bleach" was released in 2019 on the independent label Them There Records, earning critical acclaim for its bold sound design and genre-defying approach.
