Hugo Esmeraldo

Hugo Esmeraldo is a Brazilian visual artist recognized for his exploration of geometric forms and conceptual abstraction across various mediums, including painting, sculpture, and digital art. Born in 1939 in Ceará, Esmeraldo moved to Rio de Janeiro, where he became part of the burgeoning experimental art circles of the 1960s and 1970s. His work often engages with ideas of movement, light, and spatial relationships, reflecting influences from both Constructivism and the Neo-Concrete movement.
