Hripsime is a contemporary Armenian artist known for her evocative integration of cultural heritage, bold textures, and modern sensibilities within her paintings and installations. Born and raised in Yerevan, she draws inspiration from Armenia’s vibrant history, folk traditions, and landscapes, which are frequently reimagined through her striking palette and expressive brushwork. After studying fine arts at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia, she embarked on a career that bridged both local and international art scenes, displaying her work in solo and group exhibitions across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

Her compositions are celebrated for their emotional resonance and for weaving together motifs from ancient Armenian manuscripts with contemporary techniques, often exploring themes of memory, displacement, and resilience.
