Hesper Act

Hesper Act is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans installation, sculpture, and digital media, exploring the liminal territories between ecology, technology, and human perception. Born in 1993 and currently based in Berlin, Hesper Act is known for immersive environments that entangle the organic and synthetic, often inviting audiences to question their relationship to the natural world in an age of accelerating change. Drawing from backgrounds in environmental studies and new media art, Act employs materials ranging from living plants and found objects to customized software, creating works that probe issues of climate anxiety, data saturation, and embodied experience.

Their work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as the Ars Electronica Festival, the Centre Pompidou, and the Serpentine Galleries, among others, and has been featured in publications including Artforum and Frieze. A frequent collaborator, Act also engages in community-based projects and speculative workshops, fostering dialogue about sustainability and the evolving aesthetics of the Anthropocene.
