Grosera

Grosera is a multidisciplinary artist whose vibrant practice encompasses painting, sculpture, digital media, and experimental installations. Born in Mexico City and currently based in Berlin, Grosera interweaves themes of cultural hybridity, ecological transformation, and urban decay within their work. Drawing on a background in street art and graphic design, Grosera’s compositions fuse bold color palettes with intricate, chaotic linework, resulting in dynamic visual narratives that challenge the boundaries between order and entropy.

The artist's work is deeply influenced by interactions with marginalized communities, infusing each piece with a sense of urgency and social commentary. Over the past decade, Grosera has exhibited internationally, including solo exhibitions in Mexico, Germany, and Brazil, and has completed artist residencies in Lisbon and Los Angeles. Constantly seeking to disrupt traditional artistic conventions, Grosera continues to push the limits of medium and message, inviting viewers to question their own perceptions of reality and the constructed environments they inhabit.
