Goretekks

Goretekks is a boundary-pushing audio-visual collective founded in 2017 that fuses dark experimental electronic music with visceral visual art. Known for their thunderous live performances and immersive stage production, Goretekks blends influences from industrial, drum and bass, glitch, and ambient noise to craft dystopian soundscapes and chaotic rhythmic structures. The duo, comprised of producer/beatmaker Ray Shaw and visual artist/programmer Lena Volter, launched their career in underground venues across Berlin and quickly became known for their hypnotic, multimedia shows.

Their debut album, Fractured Signal, was released in 2020 to critical acclaim in the alternative electronic scene, praised for its cinematic textures, haunting atmospheres, and innovative use of custom-built software for real-time audio-visual manipulation. Advocates for open creative collaboration, Goretekks often partners with filmmakers, dancers, and digital artists, constantly challenging the boundaries between sound and vision while exploring themes of technology, alienation, and catharsis in a rapidly transforming world.
