Giolì & Assia

Italian duo Giolì & Assia—consisting of producer/multi-instrumentalist Giorgia “Giolì” Lipari and singer/songwriter Assia Nania—emerged in 2017 as pioneers of a unique blend of electronic music, melodic techno, indie pop, and live instrumentation. Hailing from Palermo, Sicily, the pair’s signature style merges driving beats with ethereal vocals, piano, handpan, and guitar, creating atmospheric tracks with a personal touch. After self-releasing early singles, Giolì & Assia founded their own label, Diesis Records, to retain creative independence.

Their debut album, *Istantanee* (2018), introduced their lush, emotive sound and was followed by *Night Experience* the same year. Subsequent releases—including the *Euphorie* (2019) and *Moon Faces* (2021) EPs—cemented their international presence. Their single “Habibi” became a viral hit, showcasing their ability to merge Mediterranean influences with modern electronic production.

Renowned for their breathtaking #DiesisLive series, Giolì & Assia perform live sets against impressive backdrops such as Etna, Milazzo, and the Aeolian Islands, garnering millions of views on YouTube and broadening their global fanbase. Their music explores themes of love, identity, and emotional resilience, often delivered in both English and Italian, reflecting their multicultural sensibility. Beyond releasing music, the duo have played major festivals including Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Exit Festival, and completed headlining tours across Europe, North America, and beyond.
